As I just said, I am working on a new map viewer for both mkds and mk7. Without it, you won't be able to move objects on the map.

The new weekly build is up!

- EFE Script Fixes

- SMDH (icon.bin) saving

- Fixed little IMA-ADPCM decmpression bug

- New map for NKM editor. (it might be buggy because it is not finished yet)

Yes, no idea how, but check GBATemp, as some people did tons of custom banners already.

As for EFE NKM Editor suggestions you asked,

  • Togglable version of point drawer, like:

You could choose any type of points you would like to set on map, then draw a path like drawing a line in Paint, then right-click to finish it. As for CPOI it would require two right-clicks, first for CPOI1 points, second for CPOI2 points, which would be enabled only after CPOI1 placement is complete.

  • Resizing AREA or CAME (don't know which one is this) boxes on NKM viewer.

They just are there, but it looks weird if you can't move or resize them...

  • Somehow more intuitive GUI to make course intros in CAME.

Cause it's really confusing. It's became better in this version when new names like sinuses, cosinuses, field of view were added, but it still looks confusing. Maybe something like an arrow next to a spot on the main viewer to at least indicate the 2D direction of where is the camera facing, I guess a 3D version would require to rewrite the editor...

  • A darker box to indicate where the cannon is.

Just because I never saw a starting and ending points linked in cannon viewer.

  • Multi-layer NKM Viewer.

By default NKM Viewer shows all the spots like if seen from eagle's view, but what if you could for example only show the spots that appear at Y=700 and below? That would solve the problems of Airship Fortress's loop.

And that's all I guess, good job :3

- Yes, I was also thinking of that
- AREA. You can do it in the propertygrid.
- I was thinking of a 3D CAME editor/viewer when MKDS Projects get possible

Geri, what about rendering the nkm or kmp in 3d? You could choose between eagle view, like the current nkm editor, and 3d view for checking everything is correctly placed.

EFE has officially been made unusable, in the latest Windows 10 Build.
Reason: Unblocking ZIP is impossible.

I tried the following:

1. Download the ZIP on Windows 7.
2. Unblock the ZIP on Windows 7.
3. Transferred every File individually over to Windows 10.
4. Even then, I need to 'Unblock the ZIP'.
