extra information, like if a file is compressed or not. also some archive files have files which do not have a name. so that would be a problem to list actually.

EFE tries to detect compression and file formats based on content, so that won't be a problem.

If Every File Explorer was open source, other people will be able to help with the development as well as improve the program. It would be nice if the source code was included with the program. Just saying. ^^

It is going to be open source. When I release it, I will put the code on github. But not so people can help improving, but more, because it makes making plugins easier.

Speaking of Source Codes, could you, for all stuff that may Crash, use Try/Catch/Finally stuff, to prevent Crashes?
I mean, both, MKDS Course Modifier, and EFE Crash a lot, so it might save a lot of headache, if you'd wrap it up like that:
// Your usual Code:
if (blablabla) {
	// Your Code.
}

// Instead of that, use this:
try { // Your usual Code, if no Errors happen.
	if (blablabla) {
		// Your Code.
	}
}
catch (Exception ex) { // If Errors happen, show a MessageBox, and your App will continue to run.
	MessageBox.Show("You're doing it wrong: " + ex);
}
finally { // Only if you want, because the Finally clause will always execute, but you can omit it, if you want.
	// Close App.
}
This way, you'll get much more user friendly Errors, and at the same time, your App won't Crash anymore, and it's really nothing hard!

I already do that at a couple of points.

I am not giving a release date. I will release when I feel it's ready.

He needs to finish efe anyway and that could take a while. you can never predict a release date because there could be delays or bugs that need fixing.

If I export, it looks okay in maya. Do you use the latest version? (http://florian.nouwt.com/MKDSCMLast.zip)

It looks more like bad UV Mapping, than fucked up Model, to me.
Also, I can already guess who you are.

I'm not hiding it :P

It may be the 'sketchfab' model viewer's fault.

Please! Try to post in the appropriate topic!

It is going well.
Ofcourse it will work for other games. A lot of games use the same formats.

Suggestions:
-3D NKM Editor. It would be so much easier to actually place objects. Currently you have to check the Y value for every polygon you want an object on. So just moving objects around with a 3D Editor would make life a lot easier. Doesn't even matter if you are not representing the objects as the originial 3D model. Actually I think it should be pretty easy to make a 3D Editor.

-Please change the controls in your NSBMD viewer. It's the most painful 3D Model viewer I've ever encountered. Navigating through the object is so slow and hard.

- No. Personally, I don't like 3d editors. In the 2d nkm editor, you can load the collision to see where the model is, and use the middle mouse button to automatically set the y.
- Using shift, you can zoom and move (in efe) faster.
