Feature Request

  • Start more zoomed out when viewing models
  • Could you add support for msbt?

  • Do you want me to send you models that are broken; with an in-game screenshot of how it should appear?

Could you add a feature this feature? I'll give an example to make it easier to understand:

 

.nsbmd or .bcmdl in explorer, if you double click it, it opens EFE's model viewer and will display the model, nodes, textures, etc. 

 

Or you have a narc or szs in explorer, and you double click it and it will open EFE and show it's contents.

 

I think this would be a really neat feature to have, since it makes things much easier to edit instead of opening EFE, then finding your archive, and going from there.

That is not possible. Small models will be very small otherwise. Or not visible.

That is not possible. Small models will be very small otherwise. Or not visible.

What he means is, don't make them all Start at X 0, Y 0, and Z 0, because then you're forced to Zoom Out a lot, before you can see a thing.
It's not like he wants you, to put the Start Position at X 1000, Y 1000, Z 1000.

Yeah, Nintendo seems to have made newer games with a filesystem, while unintentionally making it easier for rom hackers to port things between them.

I mean, should all file types associated with efe have the efe icon. I am not going to make different icons for every type of file.

Yeah, Nintendo seems to have made newer games with a filesystem, while unintentionally making it easier for rom hackers to port things between them.

Because it made it much easier for developers to make games somewhat more dynamic. (like mkds loads course archives and such)

Yeah that sounds fine, BrawlBox uses it's icon for everything. Also could I send you some Star Fox 64 3D files in a PM for you to look at? It seems to use .cmdl model types inside a strange sort of archive.

Normally, CMDL Files are nothing more, than XML Versions of BCMDL Files.

I have pushed some new features to github.

Normally, CMDL Files are nothing more, than XML Versions of BCMDL Files.

He just means bcmdl, but the block signature is CMDL.
