Hey guys! I am making a hack that combines Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! elements. There is going to be a DS and 3DS version of the game.
 
I'm not making a separate thread for the 3DS version because: 1) I can only work on the models and music for now; 2) It's easier for me to keep track of one thread; and 3) the first version will probably be ready in a long time from now.

Please report any bugs that you find in the game!
I also need someone to tell me if the game works on a real DS (and 3DS, when it comes out).

Close :P  There is one Double Dash DS (Gericom's) and one 64 DS (which was unfinished), but I combined them. koopa troopa's thread was just mine saved from MKDS Central. So I can only think of 3, but there are probably more.

MKDS N64 Circuit is also one. Its original name was MK64DS as well, until I realized that MK64DS was already taken by Alexvire. So I guess you could say that MK64DS was the name in the alpha.

Still the same thing (except you have different nitro courses along with the N64 ones).

Yeah, nowadays I consider it to be a bit like Super Circuit in the fact that N64 courses reappear with new tracks just like SMK courses reappeared in Super Circuit along with new tracks, yet another reason for the name N64 Circuit.

Kind of like how the GCN and N64 tracks appear in this game and the GBA and SNES tracks appear in Super Circuit.

I can give you the model. Even though i deleted some stuff its still too high poly (2667 polygons). I will ask blacky to see what he can do.

Nope that's past the limit, the limit is 2048 polygons the course would still lag anyway because a real DS wouldn't have any left over ram to load item, object, and character models.

It may just work well. As long as the whole course is not visible at once, it might be still under 2048 triangles.
