I'm not sure about Mario Kart Wii, but if you want proof of MK64 courses in MKDS(other than the ones already in MKDS) You should check out some of the custom track videos done by some of the people here, you will find some MK64 CTs among them.

No you cannot port course models from mkw to mkds because the game freezes from the huge amount of polygons.

Yes you can port model from mk64 because mk64 track and mkds tracks have a very similar polygon count, the only problem is the mk64 loads lower quality portions of the tracks when rendering from a far away distance so the lower quality model fuses together with the high quality model and make the polygon count go up when ripping the model gericom is currently working on a mk64 model ripping feature in EFE that will allow us to rip tracks without the low quality track models getting in the way.

Although, you could try making the Mario Kart Wii course models from scratch, if you could call that a port.

As far as I know, EFE can Port MK64 Tracks to MKDS and MK7.
Chances are, however, that MK64 Tracks might be a bit to High-Poly for MKDS, which means you'll need to Remove a few unimportant Triangles, here and there.

It should be possible to port from MKWii, but it would need simplification of course.

Actually, EFE rips the MK64 models with these low-poly parts. There is no way of knowing which parts are low-poly and which parts are high-poly.

I can make low poly a MKWII model, that takes me hours, but the results are awesome, i've made low poly the MKWII N64 sherbet land, over 1600 faces
