Moved to Hacking/Discussions.

Maybe it will be taken more seriously in discussions.

Try using nds editor.exe

Oh i'm sorry , i didn't know where to post this so i i just read the description of each section , and posting in Help would have been repetitive for me and i didn't want to bother people.

Next time , i'll post in the right place.

I used NDS Editor , and i think it actually decompressed the files! thanks!

The only thing that remains is , How to open them

It gives me .bmd files , .bca files , .btl files and so...

According to my research , bmd files are for Models , mostly for GCN games so i tried using BMDviewer 2 , but while it opens the Model doesn't show up at all.

:/

bmd models from the ds are not the same as GCN bmd models, so bmdviewer2 is useless. Though I thought that format was already editable etc, or is that only nsbmd? If I remember correctly, mario 64 ds uses bmd.

Yes. SM64 uses bmd, but I don't think it's the same format. It might be nsbmd with a different extension. (so try efe for opening it). It might also be a custom format.

EFE is also useless as it doesn't support any of the formats that the game has.

The SM64Editor only supports Super Mario 64 DS roms ...

I'm not going anywhere , i guess.

no you could change the extension to .nsbmd and test it out in efe.

You can also replace a mario 64 ds model with such model and look in the editor if anything shows up, then you know what format it is atleast.

Not working , the program doesn't want to open the model  , it gives an error and it's not possible t convert to nsbmd.

Awful compression system i guess.

It might help if you post a couple of these bmd files here.

This is the first time I see a bmd file starting with a string "bmd ". to my comparison this is not a mario 64 ds bmd model, atleast I think, I am not sure.
