This is a really epic track,though you'd better make it 2 laps,it gets pretty boring after lap 2. You should add more enemies and stuff like that.

It's at 1900 vertices at the moment, are you sure that won't work? I've tried simplifying it as much as possible and can't really do more without making it look ugly

that looks good stomatol. you have 1000 polygons left, I suggest you put some more at the place where the track gets its "anti-gravity". it will make the gameplay much better.

Thanks! I'll try making it a bit smoother, though you meant 100 polygons left, right? I know SM64DS can handle 4000 polygons, but from what I've heard so far MKDS can't

What you need to worry about is triangles. What I do is use the model I'm going to replace as an example, and try to make sure I don't have anymore triangles that it originally had. That way I know it will work perfectly fine in-game with no slowdown on hardware or emulation.

How many more? Probably if it was 10 over it's should be fine. Anything like 40+ might be a issue.
